Here are a few of my personal thoughts and feelings on the
subject of respect on the internet. This page also includes somewhat of a little club. *^__^*
Respect. We all want it. We all(hopefully) love to give it.
But i'm not talking about the "yes, sir!" kind of respect. Just basic kindness. Like being nice to someone,
not flaming people, not using vulgar language, etc. Everyone deserves this. So give it to them. If someone were to send you a message that was
rude such as a flame might be, don't reply with the same technique they used. Simply say something like "You
have a right to your opinion and I respect that." key word, respect. Keep in mind that this page is not here
to help you deal with those mean people that just won't leave you alone. Although my advice might be to ignore
them. We're here simply to spread the concept of respect over the web and help you find the strength to stay kind
even when you feel like blowing up. So the next time you see a pretty image that some one has worked hard on making
or even editing and they ask you not to take it... don't. And the next time someone has horrid and/or harsh things
to say to or about you, never mind them. Because in the long run do they make a difference? No. Their one opinion
will float away among the praise if you are truly a kind person. If you learn nothing from this, I urge you to
at least remember that just because your on the net, doesn't mean everyone has no feelings, doesn't mean you have
any more rights than in life. As in life you have freedom of speech, freedom of choice, but never freedom of consequence.
If you agree with what I have just stated and would like to
be a part of the respectful net, please take an image and post it on your page if you have one.
