CHARACTER INFORMATION:
Name: Jordan Celeste
Name Meaning: Descending from the Sky
Nicknames: Just Jordan, though if you really want to annoy him, you can call him "Jo."
Age: 18
Birthday: September 2
Zodiac: An analytical Virgo
Theme Song: More Than Words - Extreme

Hair: Jordan has very dark brown hair that is much lighter in the front. Most of his hair is clipped neatly and lies close to his head, but his bangs are different. Jordan has rather long bangs that are pretty much all over the place. they're very fluffy and resemble a koosh ball(®). His hair is actually very smooth and shiny, but feather-light. Sometimes his bangs will even sway in the breeze.
Eyes: Jordan's eyes are a plain but pretty dark brown. Sometimes its hard to discern his pupils from his iris(is?).
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 155 lbs
Body Shape: Jordan is very tall and thin. A recent growth spurt has left him without the weight to match his height, and so he seems incredibly lanky. His height is not exactly intimidating because of his relaxed demeanor. Pretty much every part of Jordan's body is long and thin, but he does have some muscle in his arms and chest (Carrying things around for the prince has not exactly left him spindly). Anyway, Jordan's shoulders are a bit broad and overall his body's not bad if you like tall thin guys.
Clothing: Jordan likes low-maintenance clothes made with medium weight fabric (like cotton and sometimes yarn). He likes his shirts to be very baggy and have wide necks, as his head is a bit large in proportion to his body. He likes his pants to be a bit more tailored, but still baggy nonetheless, he often keeps them up at his waist with a spare piece of cloth or rope (stylish no?).
Other: Jordan is quite pale, and has a slight yellow-tone to his skin. He has a few moles here and there, though none of them are on his face, and his skin can be pretty irritable/sensitive, so he gets rashes more often than most people.
Overall Appearance: Jordan is okay looking, his face is more attractive than his body, though he is toned. Members of the opposite sex will often find him cute, but usually not enough to date him based on looks alone. He has dated(courted?) two girls before, but each relationship only lasted about a month, and were never very serious.
Personality: Jordan can be kind of cranky at times, but is generally a nice guy. He is very practical, and a fan of the sciences rather than the more creative pursuits. Jordan is also very responsible, he takes care of himself and his duties and always does what he says he's going to do (good traits in a servant!). Jordan is also very sensible and logical and uses these traits in solving any difficulties of problems he might have, for this reason, he also makes a good mediator when others are arguing. Jordan analyzes situations very carefully and won't jump into something without carefully considering its consequences and what it entails. Always a careful planner, Jordan tries to do everything he needs to perfectly, even if its something he doesn't enjoy doing. Along with his being a huge perfectionist, Jordan is always on time for everything and completes tasks in the quickest and most efficient manner possible. Since he's known and worked with him for so long, Jordan is very dedicated to Prince Everett and would even give his life to protect him, for the most part because he feels its his duty. Sometimes he can even seem too attached to the Prince. However, he has another passion in life that he holds in high regard. That is, his passion for reading and learning about the stars. Sometimes late at night, Jordan goes out into the gardens and looks at the multitude of stars in the sky. He really enjoys this pursuit and spends much of his free time(which isn't a lot in the first place unfortunately) learning about the stars.

While Jordan has a lot of favorable personality traits, he has a few bad ones that crop up from time to time. Since he is such a perfectionist and so analytical, he can be somewhat critical of others. He is also easily annoyed. The things that "get his goat" the most are people that jump into things recklessly or do things sloppily without much effort. He simply can't stand seeing poorly crafted products and will complain about the lack of efficiency he sees some servants practicing. His ego's probably a little overblown from being chosen as the prince's personal servant and he sometimes feels like he's better than many of the other servants. Despite these things, Jordan is a very loyal friend and servant and his services to the royal family really are invaluable at times. At least he's not just full of hot air.

Jordan doesn't get angry at everything, and when he does he keeps it to himself for the most part, but he may let a critical remark slip through every once in a while. Generally he's kind of quiet and very serious about his duties. He's not exactly shy, just very focused on the task at hand. Jordan is just the least bit worried about all the girls headed to the castle, he's actually afraid that they will distract Prince Everett from his duties as a price(which I imagine aren't really that difficult), and that some of them will hurt the prince. Jordan will probably end up evaluating every girl that's interested in the prince and giving the prince his own well-researched opinion of them.

Strengths: Jordan is an excellent servant and always does his job very well.
Weaknesses: Jordan can be quite irritable and cranky when he feels like it.
Likes: Jordan is very interested in studying the stars and outer space even though there is not too much known about it in these times. He even sneaks glances at the moon during the daytime out of the palace windows. Jordan is also quite proud of the work he does as a servant and gets a lot of satisfaction from his job.
Dislikes: Jordan really dislikes it when he sees things done sloppily and he doesn't like perfume-type liquids, they give him rashes...
Hobbies: Jordan's favorite hobbies are studying the stars and reading nonfiction. He also dabbles in math at times.
Dream/Aspiration: Jordan really just wants to be the best servant he possibly can, and hopes to one day earn some kind of honor or recognition for his services.
Favorite Gemstone: Amblygonite
Favorite Color: Sun Blue
Favorite Food: Jordan likes lots of different kinds of red meat a lot.
Least Favorite Food: Jordan doesn't like anything very sweet, like chocolates.
Social Status: Jordan really doesn't get to hang around with a lot of different people, especially other servants. His closest friend is Prince Everett, and many of the nobles tend to treat him just a bit more kindly than they do the other servants.
Love life: Jordan likes girls as much as any other boy, but hasn't historically gotten really involved with him, most girls find him overly critical and unromantic. So his two previous romantic relationships weren't very eventful or long lived. He would like to settle down with a more practical and intelligent girl, but he's not really actively seeking a girlfriend right now.
Home: Jordan was born and raised in the palace of Roldan.
Family: Asta Celeste (Bright as a Star From the Sky) - Asta is Jordan's mother and is a very kind and dignified for a servant. She has been a servant to the queen since she was very young and has done her job well, though maybe not as meticulously as her son. She is generally a very amiable woman that many people like. She has only ever lived in the castle as her parents were also servants in the castle. She and her son are close, but Jordan's not quite a momma's boy. Asta is 42 years old and has curly black hair that ends just below her chest and is usually held back with some manner of bandana. She has brown eyes and is a bit plump.

Miner Celeste (Youth From the Sky) - Miner is Jordan's 50 year old father. He is quite a joker and is in surprisingly good shape, he is rather health conscious but not incredibly outgoing. Like Jordan, Miner is very proud of his line of work and is very dedicated to his service of the king. Jordan and his father are quite close and it is from him that he gets his pride. His father has dark gray hair and brown eyes and tends to have a lot of stubble on his face.

Wilbur Deacon (Trusted Servant/Messenger) - Also known as "Uncle Wilbur," Will Deacon is Jordan's great uncle on his mother's side. In his old age(he's 65), he is getting a bit incoherent and is quite sickly. He was the King's personal servant in his younger days and as part of the Deacon family(See History), he was a very trusted and revered servant. He now lives in Jordan's parent's chambers and they must care for him for his last few years. He can be a depressing subject for Jordan because he really looks up to him and also loves him as his uncle. He only has about 3 or so more years to live and has horseshoe-patter baldness and light gray hair (where it exists) and a long thin white beard. His face is very sunken and full of age spots as well.
Friends: Jordan doesn't really have friends he could tell you about, he pretty much is friendly to all people and vice versa, he is around nobles more than servants, so it'd be kind of taboo for one of them to be very close to him, but many of the nobles who find him in the library are pleasantly surprised that they can have an intelligent conversation with him and often say things like, "we need more servants like you," and such in regard to his intelligence and excellent service. So he's really not very close to anyone but his family and at times Prince Everett.
History: (I hope this history is okay, I tried to make it interesting, and took some liberties as to the workings of the palace, hope it works for you!) Asta Deacon's parents and their parents before them and so on and so fourth for 10 generations were servants to the royal family and became more and more trusted by the royal family as the generations passed. Now, (for servants anyway) the Deacon's are a trusted and respected family and Asta's uncle Wilbur was the king's personal servant up until about eight years ago, when Miner took his place(the king, I presume, has more than one servant now) as one of the king's servants. Asta, Wilbur's niece, as a Deacon, was appointed as the Queen's Personal servant almost 30 years ago and has been doing her job well since then, though she is now just the head servant as opposed to being the solitary servant.

Miner Celeste's family did not actually become servant's for the royal family until 3 generations ago when they were promoted from just being general servants in the palace. A Deacon by marriage and already known a good servant, Miner was selected as one of the king's personal servants. Miner and Asta met twenty years ago while Asta was readying the queen's(princesses?) chamber for her night's slumber and Miner came in to clean the chamber pot(romantic no? >_<) they felt drawn to one another, and Miner kept finding ways to work around the queen and consequently, Asta. After about 4 months, Miner charmed Asta enough for her to marry him. They had a nice, if humble, ceremony.

Jordan was born a little over a year into his parent's marriage and was loved to pieces by his parents. He was raised to have pride in his heritage and was very influenced by his great uncle Wilbur. Many of the nobles took a liking to Jordan while he was very young and decided to recommend his as Prince Everett's personal servant when they were both about 12. Jordan immediately took a liking to the prince and felt terribly happy to cater to his every whim. His parent's encouraged his dedicated and diligent service and further infused into him that he was very lucky to be chosen as a servant to the royal family, thus increasing his sense of pride in himself and his family. Since he became Everett's servant, Jordan has become very attached to the prince and really would do anything for him.

Since Jordan spends so much time in the library, I'll bet you're wondering where he learned to read. After all, it's uncommon for a servant I suppose. Anyway, when Jordan became Prince Everett's personal servant, he followed the prince everywhere, including to the library. Unbeknownst to those around him, Jordan was silently soaking in everything that happened during the prince's reading and writing lessons. Over the years, Jordan gained a fair knowledge of reading and has vastly expanded his knowledge by reading as many books as he is able to in the library. Reading, incidentally, is how Jordan discovered his love of the stars. When he picked up a book detailing astrological constellations and patterns, he was utterly captivated. He had always loved watching the sky at night, and now he could learn more about it than ever.

Jordan always hummed and sang little songs when he was doing work, he felt that it helped him keep his concentration. One day, while he was dusting around an empty room, Jordan was singing to himself. Suddenly, one of the local nobles walked into the room and said to him, "Young boy! You're singing is exquisite! The king and queen must hear this!" The noble then rushed Jordan to the throne room, where he was made to sing a quick number for the king and queen. At first Jordan was terribly embarrassed, but after being asked to sing again at feast, he became used to the idea and felt very honored.

Now, with all of the visitors coming to the palace, Jordan feels its his duty to protect Prince Everett's heart. Deep down, Jordan wonders what will happen to him if the prince does indeed find love, and even fears he will somehow tarnish his family's good name and dishonor his great uncle if he is not very careful during this time. Jordan has no notions of love for himself, and will be spending most of his time following the Prince around and warning him about every girl he meets. ,-_-,
